No. Links open in any browser, on a phone or a computer, without an account. Viewers can read the captions in their own language too.

You decide for each clip and screenshot: Private, for only you, or Anyone with the link, no sign-in needed. You can change it anytime, and choose the default for new ones on your Account page.
On Free, clips and screenshots are kept for 90 days. On Pro they’re kept for good, and once you pay for Pro, so are the ones you made on Free. You can delete anything yourself, anytime.
It records your microphone when you turn it on in the toolbar. Sound playing on your computer, like a video or a call, isn’t recorded.
